It was a normal day. Well, somewhat normal. It had been a few months since Ash had left Dawn to continue his Pokemon journey. On the way back to her home town she met up with May, Ash’s old friend, and organized time to talk with her and share stories about their journeys. They met up at a park bench and walked form there. After about an hour or so of talking they noticed a Kadabra handing out fliers. They took one and read it:
                                              COME ON COME ALL!
                                 BE YOUR FAVORITE POKEMON OF ALL!
Come to the Mix’Em Warehouse to a free try at this new method of studying wild Pokemon’s behaviors!
“This can’t really work, can it?” Dawn asked doubtfully.
‘It does work.’ May and Dawn heard in their minds.
“Who said that?” May yelled trying to beat the voice out of her head.
All the sudden they heard a laughing in their heads. ‘Don’t worry; it’s just me, the Kadabra. And the process does work.” He “said” while May and Dawn stared, “I went through the transformation myself. They have me handing our fliers so that I can communicate with people who don’t believe what the fliers say.’
“OK. We might possibly consider it…” Dawn said.
‘Please do, you won’t regret it.’ He “said” while May and Dawn walked away. After about a few minutes of silent walking May broke the silence. “Ya know we could try it?”
“I-I guess we could….” Dawn answered slowly.
“It IS free. And it could be a really fun experience.” May mentioned. Silence. It was quiet for about a minute before they both agreed to do it.
“Sooooo…. When are we going to try it?” Dawn asked.
“Let’s go now. Just to get it over with.”
“OK, let’s find the place then…..” Dawn mentioned looking at the flier. “Huh that’s weird…. There wasn’t a map on the flier until we agreed to go…”
“Maybe we just didn’t notice it.”
“Maybe….” Dawn said shaking it off, “OK it looks like it’s on the corner of Mew and Mewtwo. Let’s go.” The building was only about five blocks away.
When they entered the door there was a sign with an arrow pointing to the right room. Believing that that must be the way they followed the arrow. After entering the room they saw a front desk with a short woman and a big computer.
“If you’re here for the transformation,” the short woman said in a nasally voice, “just sign right here.” She explained tossing a clipboard at them. After signing their names they gave it back to the woman and she entered them into the computer. “We’ll be with you in a moment.” The two girls sat down and listened to the elevator music while waiting to be called up. It didn’t take very long to be called up because of the lack of people. Both of them were too excited to notice that no one came out. They were led to a room that looked like the kind of room that doctor’s use for a checkup.
“We just need to make sure everything is OK before we can start the process. Just get undressed like you do when you get your physical and put on the robes over there.” The girls did what they were told and sat patiently while the nurse ran tests on them. When they were finished, the nurse asked them to get dressed and follow her into the lab.
“The process is simple,” A new nurse told them, “you choose a Pokemon to change into and we inject their DNA into your bloodstream. Then you will change into a Pokemon. Which Pokemon do you guys choose?”
“Pikachu.” They both said quickly, all the while thinking of Ash.
“OK, I’ll be back with the injections.”
“Nervous?” Dawn asked.
A bit….. But I think I’m ready.” May answered quickly.
“Me too.” Dawn answered just as quickly. Just then the woman came in with two syringes.
“You may need to take off your clothes because the fur will make you feel very hot and uncomfortable. If you don’t want to be seen, you can go behind those screens.” She said nodding at them. “This will kick in almost immediately so be ready.” She mentioned injecting the DNA into their bloodstreams. Hearing that last bit of information they both ran behind the screens and shed their clothing. The injection started to take effect almost immediately. They both noticed a patch of yellow fur near their navel areas. From there it quickly spread up and down their bodies. As it hit their necks, their long beautiful hair fell out, causing them to panic. They were so worried about the hair that they didn’t notice what felt like another pair of cheeks on their faces. May being the first one to notice this, reached up and touched them which in turn gave her a light shock, causing her to shriek.
“Pi? Pi Pikachu?” May heard a worried Pikachu ask.
“Is that you Dawn? You sound exactly like a Pikachu! I can’t understand a thing you just said. Hearing that silenced Dawn knowing that her friend wouldn’t be able to understand her. All of the sudden they started to scream as their ears migrated to the top of their heads, all the while turning into cone-like yellow ears with black tips. They both stood their panting when they noticed their hands shrink into their arms and their fingers became pointed almost like claws. They also saw their feet become skinnier and their big and little toes merge into the toes next to them, making it so they only had three. They were so entranced by their hands and feet they didn’t notice the lightning shaped tails growing right above their buttocks. When the tails were done developing they had notches in the top, proving that they were Pikachus of the female species. Just as the girls started to relax there was a sharp pain in their stomachs as their insides were rearranged. Finally the two Pikagirls had time to rest. They then heard a door opening and closing.
“Come on out.” They heard a man say. “Don’t worry about your clothes, the fur will cover everything and keep you warm.” They both came out slowly after hearing the last comment. “Now we are going to run some tests on you to young ladies, although apparently we need to perfect the Pikachu injection.” He said motioning to their bodies.
“AHHHH!” They both yelled at the same time after seeing each other. Everything was perfect, other than the fact that they were still their normal heights.
“What happened!?” Dawn exclaimed in Poke Talk.
“What?” The man questioned.
“She said what happened.” May told him noticing she could understand Dawn.
“The injection must not have been strong enough, that’s all.” The man answered, shrugging it off. “Besides that’ll make it easier to change back. Now we are going to do a speed, electricity, vertical jump, and coordination test. Follow me.” He said waking out the door, the tests didn’t take very long and they did well on almost all of them. All that they had left was the coordination test. “There is only one thing we are going to have to have you do here. I’m going to toss you both these small, black balls. Just catch them. Sounds easy right? Are you ready?” He asked. They both nodded and waited for the toss. It was up! *Grab* *Grab* All of the sudden the balls opened up and swallowed them both in a flash of read light, sucking them both into the balls. *wiggle* *wiggle* *wiggle* *BING!* The doctor walked over and picked up the balls as a nurse walked in.
“Brilliant idea painting the PokeBalls black sir. But what are we going to do about their height though?”
“The ball will take care of that by shrinking them down to the regular Pikachu size, all the while erasing their memories. Unfortunately the one girl will still speak like a human but I think that we can get past that. Have you started the mind wipe yet?”
“Yes we have sir. We are removing the memories of them from everyone they have been seen by.”
“Good,” the doctor said in a dark voice, “good.”
